10 things you didn’t know about Hunny Madu

1. April 1st marks three important events in Hunny Madu’s life: her birthday, the date her hubby proposed to her, and her wedding anniversary (she INSISTS on receiving TWO presents on that day)

2. Hunny Madu thinks that if she was an animal, she would be a tiger, but at Fly FM she’s known as ‘The Chimp’ (because in real life she is a funny-looking, entertaining ape)

3. Hunny started a girl group when she was a schoolgirl with 3 of her friends and named themselves Mystique Diversity (because they were ‘so mysterious’ and their music was diverse… HAHAHAHHA!)

4. After Mystique Diversity failed, Hunny renamed the group Surreal and they performed with top acts like Siti Nurhaliza

5. Surreal’s first performance was with Dayang Nurfaizah in Hard Rock Cafe, and joining the group for the first time was… Yuna!

6. Hunny met Yuna on ICQ chat and they would share lyrics and poems with each other, then Hunny invited Yuna to join Surreal

7. Hunny says she LOVES working out. We used to go to the same gym, and one of the trainers said all she does is dance and run on the treadmill.

8. When she was a toddler, her big brother Hafiz used to punch her and beat her up, and complain that he wished she was a boy. So Hunny became a real rough tomboy as a kid.

9. Once Hunny entered university, she moved out of her parents’ house (the only one to do so!) because she couldn’t stand sharing a room with her little sister anymore. Hunny is a super neat freak, but her sis is messy.

10. Hunny is one of the awesomest friends I have. On my last birthday she bought me a magnetic notepad and pen and a custom made bracelet that spelled ‘GATOR’ (because she calls me Lailagator)
