Coolest person I have ever met. 12th Planet. King of Dubstep. Mentor to Skrillex. Nicest, most enthusiastic, most lovable human being on the planet.
He stopped by the studio one morning for an interview. The person that set up the interview was none other than that hipster crammed in the corner below.
Apparently the word ‘swag’ is on the outs and ‘turn up’ is the cool thing to say. So through out our time with John he kept yelling ‘TURN UP!’ He’s totally high on life and it was so refreshing to be around him. We took him out for breakfast after and he was super psyched to be eating rice in the morning TURN UP! He tried everything. Like EVERYTHING. My pau. Hafiz’s roti bakar. Prem’s roti canai. TURN UP! And he couldn’t contain his excitement over watermelon juice. WOAH! YOU GUYS GOT WATERMELON JUICE?! TURN UP!! …IT TASTES LIKE WATERMELON WHAT? TURN UP! Yeah, that’s how he talks. But not in an annoying caps lock way. Haha. I love him!
I wish I was a real writer because I am not doing John any justice whatsoever with this post. And I really really REALLY wish I could share the stories he told… but I might be sued for defamation by certain people, notable Miley Cyrus. You know, because Miley loves my blog so much. Anyhoo, all I wanna say is… Miley is cool.
