I’ve written about LEGO and Bricks4Kidz multiple times on this blog because it’s honestly a huge part of our lives. I wanted the boys to have an extracurricular activity that they really enjoyed doing and that also helped them in some way – boosting confidence, having a long-term hobby, happy brains, learning a skill etc.

Ayub and Sulaiman have been attending LEGO classes once a week for almost two years now. Ayub even competed in the FIRST Lego League Jr. Malaysia.

Anyway. It’s been brilliant for them. Fine motor skills. Neurological development. Increase in confidence. Just something fun for them to do.

Bricks4Kidz is now in Damansara Perdana

Teacher Lisa opened her own little LEGO school for budding LEGO master builders, with a focus on S.T.E.M and fun.

There are going to be lots of new classes available yay!

The boys have been going to regular LEGO building class, with some introduction to early robotics. But now there will be a dedicated robotics class that I think both of them will really enjoy. Plus, there may be a DUPLO class for toddlers and I am so excited for Aisha to join that! Heehee so cute.

This is the big kids’ classroom:

The class is an hour long so we dropped the boys off and did groceries. Class starts with a lecture on the topic of the day. Followed by building something based on the topic. This week the boys learned about ships (or sailboats I forget).

Stickers at the end of class:

Aisha’s favourite part is getting stickers after class is over. Everyone gets one sticker each, but Aisha gets two because she’s a boss like that. She doesn’t even take part in a class. Extra boss.

This is such a messy blog post sorry. But yeah, Bricks4Kidz is awesome and open in Damansara Perdana now.
