Bring Your Kids To ‘Slide The City’ Malaysia This Month

Slide the City is this super awesome fun event that’s been going on all over the world. Basically they set up a giant slip n’ slide through the city and let people have fun. It first came to Malaysia in 2015 for one weekend, and now it’s back in the Klang Valley for an entire month!

I am so bringing the kids here.

The slip n’ slide is 1,000 feet long like omg. I can already hear Ayub and Sulaiman screaming and giggling all the way down.

Games and food and activities for the family

The event is carnival-like with lots of booths and activities for families including the Rodeo Bull, Dunking Game, Bungee Run, and Gladiator Joust. There’s going to be live music as well as other attractions. Sounds good, no?

Well, maybe not the music because idgaf.

There will be 15 food trucks set up throughout the day for noms. If it’s anything like the food trucks I’ve visited before in Malaysia, it will probs be overpriced and underwhelming. But it’s ok. I guess it’s the thrill of it.

It’s for a good cause too!

A portion of the sales proceeds will be channelled towards the National Kidney Foundation of Malaysia (NKF Malaysia) in support of patients suffering from kidney disease, which is cool. Slide the City also supports a number of other social causes including the Shark Savers campaign (saying NO to sharks fins) and preservation efforts.

Time: Friday – 5pm-12am, Saturday and Sunday – 9am-12am
Ticket price: Regular – RM29, VIP – RM86
