Merdeka Super Kampung Style Flashmob (part 2)
Here’s the first part of the journey before my computer got retarded. We’d got off the LRT and were on the streets of KL making our way to Dataran Merdeka to perform Super Kampung Style for the PM and King. Patriotism and unity was in the air. It was all love and rainbows, and it was awesome.
There were people handing out flags to everyone who walked by without one, so the boys helped out.
And of course, we ended up on the wrong side of the parade road. Our OB Fly stastion was on the other side. We could see our sister station HotFM and knew we were right behind them. But the road was sealed off and the guards wouldn’t let anyone through. In fact, dignitaries were arriving. Tun Dr Mahathir drove past us and we waved our little flags at him with stupid grins on our face.
But anyhoo, Prem and Abe sweet-talked their way past the guards and we ran across the road just before the parade started.
