A couple months ago I left my phone charger in the studio over a weekend. My phone was dead for 3 days. I had no access to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram… I realized how reliant and addicted I had become to social media. I realized how much QUALITY time I was able to spend with the babies; instead of just being there physically, I was fully there mentally.
Sooooo… I told Pagi Rock Crew that I wanted one of them to give up social networking for a week. No Facebook. No Twitter. No Instagram. No online games that allowed chatting. I nominated Prem because he is on FB and Twitter non-stop from the time he wakes up til he sleeps. Not even a week. Five days. Five working days without social networks. Such a brilliant stunt. Don’t you think Malaysians would be interested to know how he did? Hafiz’s iPhone died recently and he spent two days without a smartphone. He said he felt lost and stared at the wall a lot instead of reading tweets and checking facebook.

Anyhoo, it looks like this stunt will never come to be. The boys are dead-set against it. Prem says it won’t transpire well on radio. Hafiz says a straight-up no. They say it’s boring. Prem adds that it’s his obligation to tweet and FB for his restaurant and other outside work. Hafiz has no reasons. They are poopy. SUCH A GOOD STUNT. Gone forever. RIP awesome stunt.
