Wishing Tree and Kyle Patrick of the Click Five

The dirtiest Santa ever and his naughty little helper.

For Christmas, FlyFM set up a wishing tree and asked everyone to buy presents for under-privileged children from four different orphanges. Special guest star was the Click Five’s Kyle Patrick.

The morning after he arrived, I suggested to Prem and Hafiz that they call his hotel and try to speak to him. Naturally, they decided rather than speaking, they should prank.

So stupid. Kyle is such a nice guy. Anyway, on Christmas Eve, the Fly team assembled at Fahrenheit 88 to give away the presents to the kids with a special acoustic performance from Kyle.

Prem does not make for a good Santa. He ran away and hid from little kids. But I love his faux-leather boots.

 

Over 100 children received brand new presents from our wishing tree. The little ones brought me close to tears because they embodied pure innocent joy. When their names were called, they ran up to Santa and hugged him and were just so thrilled to get a gift. Ahh… made me think of my babies and how very blessed we are to have each other, let alone all the materialistic things we take for granted.

 

 

Kyle performed his acoustic set at the end much to the delight of his crazy fangirls who simultaneously screamed and sang along throughout. Pictures were taken at the end and I left early to get home to Ayub 🙂
