I just discovered some old pictures of Ayub on my laptop that the hubby saved…
Ayub Caught A Cricket At School And Brought It Home To Be A Pet
As you probably know by now, Ayub likes insects. Two months ago during his last few weeks at his learning centre, he saw a cricket at the window and caught it.
Usually Ayub eats crickets. But not this guy.
He brought it home in a box with a little hole at the top. Inside was one leaf and one grain of rice. And the cricket.

Ayub was very excited to keep him and love him and play with him

I let him observe the fella in his room for the evening

Then he was released into our garden

Ayub has decided he wants to study zoology and be a zoologist and stay close to animals forever.
Check out Ayub’s first blog post on the preying mantis.
