Ayub’s Big Birthday Lunch From PichaEats & Cakes From Junandus

Ayub’s 12th birthday was in January, before MCO 2.0, and just after Christmas. Kinda a sweet spot for 2021 so far lol. We ordered super yummy food from PichaEats.

Originally, Ayub’s cousins were gonna come over for a lil birthday party. But then a few days before his birthday, the COVID cases shot up so they decided it would be safer to stay home.

Meanwhile, Ah Ku (my bro) had a positive COVID case in his condo block, so he self-quarantined for two weeks to be safe.

So Ayub’s birthday party ended up being just the 6 of us and my parents.

But. I ordered food for like 25 pax. Haha.

“I’ve enjoyed PichaEats many times over the past 3 years or so. The food is always so flavourful and delicious, everything is prepared and cooked to perfection. There’s so much variety that your tummy will be very happy. Portions are also huge and great for sharing. My family loves all the rice dishes. Hummus is a must! It makes special occasions spectacular.”

But for real, their food is amazing. And the fact that it supports refugee families by providing them an income makes it all the more wonderful.

Every mouthful is packed with flavour. Fresh herbs and spices and I don’t know what. But it’s just delightful. Your face will legit be like :O and I guarantee you’ll look at the person next to you and be like MMMMMMMM!

Everything was good.

100/10 would recommend.

And the brother ordered cakes from Junandus

Ayub specifically asked for a chocolate mousse cake or chocolate sponge cake. He doesn’t like cheesecake or anything else.

But my bro added a salted caramel mille crepe cake and Ayub LOVED IT. I think he probably ate three-quarters of it. Salty, sweet, soft, and crepey. Yums.
