Cheap, Fast Pasta At Little Fat Duck In 3Damansara
It was a busy Sunday and we had to do groceries and have lunch before zipping off to somewhere I don’t even remember anymore. Fastest, cheapest lunch available? Little Fat Duck at 3Damansara.
The Menu
Since they used to be a food truck (are they still? idk), the food is really simple and fuss-free. The prices are super cheap, but the portions are small.
Still, RM6 for a box of hot pasta ain’t bad you know.
The Ambiance
All their outlets are teeny weeny. Just a quick makan spot. Clean and simple, just like their food. I think there are usually just one or two customers eating at a time, if that. Probably busier on weekdays when the working crowd wants a quick lunch.
It was empty that Sunday.
The Service
There was one dude who did everything. He took orders then cooked the food. Then took other orders. Then went back to the food. Then took more orders. Then packed our food. Then cleaned up the eating area. Then cooked more food.
He’s good. But yeah. One person. So it’s a biiiiit slow. If there were two, one to cook and one to take orders, for sure it would be super fast.
The Food
We ordered to go. Bolognese and carbonara. It tastes very homemade. And not like a nice, comforting, “my mum makes the best!” kinda homemade. More like this-Ninja-can-cook-slightly-better-than-this homemade.
It’s ok. But for RM6, I really don’t mind. I actually upsized the carbonara so it was RM9. Still ok lah.
Sulaiman said “ya, it’s ok.”

Final thoughts
Overall, because I’m super not fussy about food and will pretty much eat trash, I think it’s ok. Cheap, easy, fast. 3/5
Mr Ninja hates it. He says it’s the worse pasta he has ever eaten ever. Ever. 0/5
