Easy Milo Cake Recipe You Can Make In The Microwave

We’ve made microwave Milo cake 4 times. Each time we use a different recipe. Last night’s Milo cake was THE BEST so far.

Ingredients

• 8 tablespoons flour
• 8 tablespoons Milo powder
• 2 tablespoons white sugar
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 6 tablespoons milk
• 8 tablespoons cooking oil
• 1 egg

Other recipes call for the same amount of sugar as milo powder, but when we tried that, it was soooooo sweet. Like disgustingly sweet.

Instructions

1. Chuck everything into a microwave-safe bowl and mix
2. Microwave for 4 minutes
3. Eat

I know it’s not pretty, but it was yummy! Dusting it with powdered sugar would hide the ugly. Or drizzling chocolate sauce mmmm…

It’s fluffy and spongey and not too sweet

The picture sucks coz the baby was on my lap and trying to grab the cake. But it’s quite moist and yummy.

Eat it while it’s hot and steamy with a side of ice cream

10/10 would recommend.

This was our second microwave Milo cake:

It was very rich. Equal parts sugar to milo. The oil makes it moist and shiny. I think. I dunno.
