IKEA Is Recalling A Batch Of CALYPSO Ceiling Lamps After Reports Of Falling Glass

IKEA Malaysia urges all customers who purchased CALYPSO ceiling lamps after 1st of August 2016 to double check the date stamp on the product. IKEA is recalling CALYPSO ceiling lamps manufactured between and including these date stamps: (yyww) 1625 to 1744.

While no known incidents have been reported in Malaysia. IKEA Malaysia is urging you to return the product for a full refund. Proof of purchase/receipt is not required.

Instructions on how to safely dismantle and what to look for

1. Carefully pull out the movable arm

2. Remove the lamp shade while you continue to hold the movable arm pulled out
