I’m Losing All My Hair 4 Months After Giving Birth

Hair loss postpartum sucks.

Aside from having a new squishy bundle of baby to cuddle and snuggle and kiss, there are SO MANY plus sides to giving birth i.e. not being pregnant anymore. No more puking, aches, pains, carpal tunnel, I have energy, I can walk, I can poop and sleep and move around…

But of course, there are downsides. And the downside for me is HAIR LOSS.

Sad.

Especially sad when I don’t have much hair to begin with. Just really straight, fine, fine, fine hair.

Ayub does this thing where he brushes my hair and pulls it into a ponytail and brushes it some more. It goes on for like 15 to 30 minutes and it’s suuuuuper relaxing. I love it so much. He’s not a big fan of doing it but he’s THE BEST at it.

Anyway, the other night he was brushing my hair then when he was done, he was all like, ew. EW. MAMA, EW.

The floor was covered with hair 🙁 All my dropped hair. All over the floor. Sad.

LOOK AT ALL THE HAIR THAT IS NO LONGER ON MY HEAD.

That’s all. I’m so sad. I’m going bald. And I’m still fat. I’m gonna be fat and bald. What life is this.

Here’s a picture of Ibrahim to cheer myself up:
