So much for keeping a diary of this pregnancy. I haven’t updated anything in months lol. Quick update: It was shit for the first three months. Started to get better at the fourth month. I have no recollection of the following weeks. And now I’m almost eight months along.

Sorry Baby #4. You’re a good baby. Just chilling.

Anyway, pregnancy updates yay:

1. Potato body

All lumpy and potato. A whole lot of lump. Much potato. Lumpy Space Princess kinda lumpy. 80kg worth of lumpy potato.

2. All the back pain

I’m so fat and old. Everything hurts.

3. I can’t walk

I read that it’s progesterone and loose ligaments and baby chilling on the nerves that causes all the pain. I dunno. It hurts though. My butt and hamstrings and legs. Oh. Ow. Walking too far hurts, sitting too long hurts, standing too much hurts.

Mr Ninja and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary yay! He got me flowers and a scarf and I got him a night alone because I got food poisoning yay!

4. Lying down hurts

Staying in the same position for too long hurts. Lying on my back hurts immediately. Sideways is the best. But I have a fortress of pillows to help all the lumpy potatoness stay propped up. Otherwise it hurts.

5. I’m always thirsty

In the morning, during the day, at night. Thirsty thirsty thirst. I’m thirsty after drinking. I’m thirsty while drinking. I’m thirsty right now. I’m not trying to say that I’m horny. For real. I’m just legit thirsty. For water.

6. The baby kicks and somersaults non-stop

It’s adorable and distracting and I love it.

Oh yeah, we finally found out the sex of the baby

Went to the gynae for a check up and scan. Look how cute this little human is! For the first time ever I saw my baby’s face through an ultrasound. Like, the full face. Staring at the monitor. Chubby cheeks and round nose. Little hand clenching and waving.

Then the baby turned to the the side and started sucking its thumb. Huhu.

Anyway, I thought it was a girl. We had a girl name picked out. I took out all of Aisha’s clothes out to get ready. I was dreaming of the little dresses and frilly socks and bows in her hair. All the things that Aisha hates because Aisha just ain’t into that stuff.

It’s a boy.

We saw his testicles. Right up in the middle of the screen. Balls. Haihhhh…
