Pagi Rock Crew join KLIA iStyle 2011 (Heat 2)

So this is a super late entry. Been too fantastically lazy and busy with work and babies to la-di-da on this blog. Anyhoo, KLIA iStyle Heat 2 – Man on the Town!

The lovely Hafiz was the model for this heat. The brief was to create menswear out of recycled plastic. We put a lot of thought and work into this one. A whole 15 minutes of blood, sweat and tears from me and Nadia. Honestly, we’ve never worked so hard in our lives. The outcome..? MINDBLOWING AVANT-GARDE FASHION GENIUS AWESOMENESS.

In the first heat we created Robot Head for children. Go look for the post yourself because I don’t know how to insert links. And I don’t care to learn.

My first attempt at a shirt; Hafiz’s big bald head got stuck.

I bought nearly RM100 worth of plastic things to make an outfit that morning, but Hafiz brought two large Puma plastic bags and insisted he wanted to wear his sponsor… and so the Puma Warrior was born.

Disaster-case.

You can’t see from the picture, but we were actually surrounded by the other real contestants who were busy orchestrating the hair and make-up of their models, and in the midst of photo shoots and interviews with the press. No pressure, Pagi Rock Crew.

Oh yeah, our Pagi Rock Crew Crew member, Dida, came over an hour late and unfortunately we had completed everything by then. But she still got love. (And she does have two legs, it’s just a weird pose)
