Really Ugly Photos From The Buffet Dinner At Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast

At the end of the first day of play at Desaru Coast Adventure Waterpark, we were EXHAUSTED.

But Kenneth invited us for buffet dinner at the Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast so we were like free food yay.

The spread was impressive but the food was hit and miss. I definitely covered my cost for the buffet from the sheer amount of cheese I ate.

You see that Brie? I ate the whole wheel. No shame.

I kinda wish I had taken more pictures so that you could imagine what it was like there but I didn’t so you’ll have to settle for these sad shots

Dessert is ALWAYS my favourite thing at buffets because I’m fat. But the dessert spread at the Hard Rock Hotel Desaru was so sad. I mean, they were nice desserts but…

I’m a simple person.

I like chocolate.

There was no chocolate.

Instead, they had COCONUT desserts. Like, everything had coconut. I like fresh coconut. But I HATE coconut in anything else. Everything was so coconutty. Sad.

The bread pudding had coconut and raisins and it was the most miserable I have ever been trying to eat that until Mr Ninja was like just stop you hate it stop.

The kids favourite thing was this mac and cheese. I think they ate like three bowls each.

The kuih was possibly the driest, hardest, most awful tasting kuih I have ever had lol. LOOK AT THAT ANG KU! Damn sad.

Oh, this was my favourite spot. The breadsticks, sundried tomatoes, olives, feta, compotes… yums.

Ok there was a lot more food like rice and dishes and noodles and pastas and stuff. Just use your imagination.

Ayub tried to blend in with the booth

This little cutie pie was his co-star in the Desaru Coast Adventure Waterpark video. She was all over him and he was so not into it. Poor dude.

As you know, Ayub is prone to meltdowns when he has sensory overloads, so I was a little on edge. But he did great. Kept his cool, made this face -_- and eventually little cutie pie got bored and giggled her way to the next booth.
