We ate satay for lunch at Restaurant Satay Kajang Hj. Samuri At Uptown Damansara. It was an awesome lunch. The satay was awesome. I am awesome. I am satay.

The Food

OMG THE SATAY IS SO GOOD YOU GUYS. I’ve been getting Satay Kajang Hj. Samuri at the Putrajaya branch and it’s been getting tougher and tougher and less and less yummy. So I wasn’t expecting much, especially since it’s a chain restaurant. But it was so freakin good.

Satay is the best. I love satay. Satay #1.

I ordered the beef. Everyone else had chicken. Gowri the champion ate beef, lamb, and chicken. The kuah kacang was damn good. I could drink it as a smoothie.

I ordered 15 sticks of beef satay because I’m a boss. Everyone else freaking shared 12-14 sticks. Like wtf. Fake Malaysians.

Nandini angry because I called her a fake Malaysian in this blog just now up there.

Gowri so cute and happy with her 3 types of satay. She says the lamb was the best, followed by the chicken, and then the beef.

Ok, Nandini champion. She ate her chicken satay and tambah nasi goreng ayam. The ayam looks dry.

And then we all had ais kacang because ais kacang is delicious. But this one wasn’t so delicious. There weren’t enough thingies inside. But Gowri liked it because she orders ais kacang kosong. Sad.

The menu

My 15 sticks was around RM15. Ya.

FOOD: 5/5 (only for satay, don’t order anything else) like 1/5 for the rest of the food lol.

The Ambiance

Meh. It’s very no frills. Like, not even a little frill. But it’s clean.

AMBIANCE: 3/5

The Service

Ais kacang took too long to arrive and Murni had a dead fly in her drink, but other than that everything was cool.

SERVICE: 4/5

Final Thoughts

The place ain’t pretty but the satay is DELICIOUS. I don’t recommend eating anything other than satay there. I dunno. Maybe other people like the set lunches and rice dishes and stuff. But I would only go for the satay.
