Sleep deprived party animals
Most people don’t realize that a lot of work actually goes into being on a morning radio show. Hafiz, Prem and I wake up around 3.45am every weekday morning. Yeah. 3.45am. We start work at 5am and go on live at 6-10am. After that it’s prep prep recordings prep meetings recordings meetings and other stuff. The boys used to be party animals. I think Hafiz has grown out of it to a certain extent, and prefers staying home and playing fantasy football. Anyway, most nights Pagi Rock Crew get to bed around midnight. So by noon they look like this:
This was before a meeting. Waiting for the boss to finish another meeting. Of course Prem can’t let Hafiz sleep undisturbed. So he came to poke. And later returned with a feather duster. There’s a video of that but I’m too lazy to upload right now. Just use your imagination.
Hafiz was unfazed. You know what they say, if you can’t beat them… join them.
