The Pee Pee Diary (DAY 5 & 6)

DAY 5

Accident free. Hamayzing. Except… Umm… Ayub told me to go upstairs and sleep. Even brought me to the room and made me lie down and said “Mama sleep”. I thought he was being sweet because he knows how tired I am. He disappeared downstairs, and I lay down and relaxed. Then I heard him call “Mama!” really loud. So I ran down and he looked shocked. Real shocked. And, I dunno, maybe guilty? Basically, he pooped. Without a nappy. And so… yeah. Poop on the floor. He ran to the bathroom and took off his shorts and tried to sit on the toilet. But he was scared he would fall in so he asked me to hold him, so I did. Then he felt self-conscious to poop because I was around. Poor guy. So I got his toddler toilet cover and he sat on that. And I left him, with a game in his hand so he wouldn’t feel all alone. Cleaned up the poop. Checked on him again. Ayub was done. No poop in the toilet. But it was a great start though. Never thought he would take to the toilet so quickly. He later pooped properly after his bath when he was in his jammies and diapers.

DAY 6

Accident free. So completely. On top of that, I brought the boys back to my parents’ house. A 20 minute car ride. Accident free. On top of the top of that, Ayub followed his Grandpa to the store to buy some groceries and came back an HOUR later. Accident free. Loooooong pee after that. But I don’t have to bring him to the toilet every 15-20 minutes. He either asks to go or I can take 30 minutes or more. (He usually does a pee pee dance…)

DAY 7

That’s today! Accident free. 200 people came over for the Raya Open house and he was awesome. Played and played and played with his cousins and other kids. Held his pee. And went when I brought him. Or else he’d ask someone to bring him.
