Today is Monday. Ramadhan began on Saturday. Usually at this time I would be having…
Three Years Ago We Ate At Harley’s TTDI And I Never Completed This Blog Post
This post has been sitting in my drafts for the past 3 years. Look how teeny tiny Ayub is!
He’s wearing his Dyslexia Association of Malaysia uniform. Awww… how far we’ve come.
Ok so anyway, I guess this was one of those days that I took the boys out for lunch after school to Harley’s in Taman Tun Dr Ismail. We haven’t been back there ever since. But we did really enjoy the burgers. I wonder if Harley’s still exists. I hope it does. Now I feel like going back there and eating a burger.
The Food
Burgers and fries. Ayub and Sulaiman each had the chicken burger. It was crispy, judging from the picture, I have no recollection of this, but I assume it was nice.
The fact that Ayub is eating and this is back when he was a super picky eater shows that it much have either been a really good burger, or a really plain one. Perhaps it’s a really good plain burger.
Definitely not a fancy burger. He hates pretentious fancy burgers.
I think I had a cheeseburger? It’s a burger with cheese in it. I assume it’s a cheeseburger. Cheeseburgers are my favourite. Oh, there are no fries in my basket.
What is that? What’s in my basket? Potato salad?
Why the heck would I order potato salad when there’s an option of fries?
The Menu
Ohhhh… modeled after In n Out Burger. I should bring Jeremy here to see if it’s legit. Prices look pretty good! Ok, I will come back again.
The Ambiance
Oh no, I’ve run out of photos. What I recall is that it’s really small and clean and shares a spot with Golden Valley (?) Chinese restaurant. I’m writing based off my increasingly bad memory.
The Service
Definitely self-service. I don’t remember being angry so it must have been ok.
The Sulaiman
Look how teeny 4-year-old Sulaiman is with his Tadika Diyana uniform! Huehuehuehue.
Final Thoughts
Yeah, I should really go back there for a burger!
