I Went To The First Suspended Indoor Playground At AIRZONE In Singapore
I went to AIRZONE at City Square Mall in Singapore and it was like scary and fun but mostly scary. The kids would probably love it, although I imagine they would be apprehensive at first. I was apprehensive.
AIRZONE is the first suspended indoor playground. Imagine a three level playground where the floor is just netting, and you’re suspended in the middle of a shopping mall.
There’s a ball pit, slides, and at the very top is a maze
This is not for people who are afraid of heights
I’m scared of heights, I think. But I dunno. It wasn’t that scary. You get used to being so high up with only a net between you and your DEATH.
You can’t bring phones or anything with you into AIRZONE because if you drop something, it could either seriously injure someone on a level below or just crash and get destroyed on the ground floor. They provide lockers for you to keep your stuff.
I don’t know if you can tell from these pictures, but I am super high up lol.
And because it’s all just netting, whenever someone walks or jumps, everything bounces up and down. It’s quite fun to jupm up and down and scare other people.
The ball pit is much deeper than you’d expect
Little ones would probably get buried, hold on to them tight. Because it’s so bouncy, it’s easy to slip in and lose your footing and not be able to come back out again. Oh, I made it sound super dangerous but I don’t think it is. It’s super fun.
Look how happy I am.
Giant inflatable balls to play with
Kick, throw, roll, whatever.
You climb up the sides to get to the next level. I only went to the first and second level. The third one was full of like mini maze thingies that I thought I’d be too big to fit into. It’s really a playground for kiddies. I don’t wanna spoil their fun lol.
And you get down to the lower levels with long slides. I’m fat so I got stuck halfway. Sad.
Cleanliness and Hygiene
It’s Singapore, it’s super clean. You’re required to wear shoes in the playground though, I’m not sure why. That feels kinda dirty and possibly dangerous (if you accidentally get kicked in the ball pit for example).
Otherwise, yeah, super clean.
Service and staff
Very friendly and helpful. There’s a safety briefing and preparation before you’re allowed in AIRZONE. The staff explain everything very clearly and are strict on safety. Excellent. Yass.
Food and drinks
Eh, I didn’t see any. You’re floating in the middle of the shopping mall. So, I guess you can go get food and drinks and any of the cafes and restaurants nearby. You definitely can’t bring food in the playground.
Pricing

Overall – AIRZONE @ City Square Mall
Variety of activities: 3/5
Cleanliness & hygiene: 5/5
Staff: 5/5

Pricing: I dunno, I’m Malaysian, everything in Singapore is expensive to me.
Total: 4/5
It’s fun. Definitely a one-time thing to try out. I don’t know how much fun a kid can really have in there. It feels very gimmicky.
