We Went On A 3D2N Staycation To Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson (Part 2)

Ok, so in my last post I ended it with Mr Ninja, my folks, the kids, and I on a buggy on the way to our hotel. But the thing is, I actually stayed at the Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson for a work retreat a couple weeks before bringing the family for our staycation. So these pictures in this story were taken from the work retreat. This is not really important information. Except that you may suddenly notice the appearance of a lone Gowri.

Gowri did not follow us on our family staycation to Port Dickson. She was not invited. Despite being family. Love u Gowri.

On the buggy to our room

There’s not much to say. There’s a buggy. It brings us to our room. Oh, it’s easy to get a buggy to your room. It’s infinitely harder to get one from your room back to the main hotel. One night we called and waited and waited and waited and waited and waited and waited and they never came so we just walked.

Room 306 aka the best room in the woooorld!

Because of the weird shape of the hibiscus boardwalk, some chalets face the inside of the “petal” so you get a view of your neighbours. We were fortunate enough to get a room that faced the seaaaaaaa… So we only saw water and water and more water. Room 306. The best. Great view. No humans.

The room is for 4 people. So when I later booked a room for the family, we were counted as 5 because Aisha was born two years ago silly baby. And the online booking system wouldn’t allow us to have this room, instead giving us a bigger family room. Sounds nice but it  was way more expensive. So I said we were only 4 to get this room. And when we checked in they said it was ok for Aisha to stay with us. Yay! 😛

The best part of Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson is the personal swimming pool in every room. I mean, really, it’s the only reason why I came back with the kids. No need to walk out to a pool shared by others. The kids can swim and when one gets tired, just go back to the room to chill or nap, while the others continue splashing around.

Oh, there’s a random hole in the floor of the bathroom. I kept imagining a corpse floating by. Gowri got angry at me for saying that. And the rest of the stay we all imagined a mayat in the water. Especially at night. Especially. At. Night.

Lex Spa for massages and relaxation

Gowri, Julie, and I had already planned to go to the spa for massages like a year before going on this trip. So we finally went. It was wonderfulllllllll…

Oh, here’s a random shot of Gowri being cute in the lobby. I know she’s going to see this and say, “eeeee y u put that picture of meeeee….” Because you look cute Gowri. Stop complaining.
