Here’s How To Play Pokemon Tretta At Molly Fantasy

The boys are really into this arcade game called Pokemon Tretta. It’s pretty much available in all Molly Fantasy video arcades. It’s an easy, fun way to spend a lazy Sunday.

One game costs RM4, which is pretty expensive???

But it’s fine, I guess. They love it. You get a Molly Fantasy top up card from the counter and we usually dump like RM50 in there for the kids to enjoy an hour or so at the arcade.

Here’s how to play:

1. Scan your Molly Fantasy card to start

2. Enter ‘Search and Battle’ and select an Area to battle using the Roulette Dial

“Mama, you did the wrong thing. That’s not the Roulette Dial, that’s the Poke Ball that you use to catch the Pokemon. The Roulette Dial is the small, white, round thing below it.” – Sulaiman

3. Place your Tretta (i.e. Pokemon chips) on the thingy

The boys have been playing for over a year so they have a cute collection of Tretta. You wanna put your strongest Pokemon to battle, obviously.

4. Three opposing Pokemon will “appear” and then you battle them lah

5. Choose which Pokemon is gonna attack using what move, which one to defend with what move

There’s actually quite a bit of skill involved. You need to know your Pokemon. Target the strongest fella so he gets weaker and you have a better chance of catching him.

6. Lots of tap-tap-tapping the buttons to both attack and defend

10. Then after the battle you get a chance to catch the opposing Pokemon

There are four balls: Poke Ball, Great Ball, Ultra Ball, and Master Ball.

11. Once you catch an opposing Pokemon, a new Tretta chip will pop out of the machine

12. And you add it to your collection
