So after feeling super pumped and excited at the announcement of 'Slide the City' in…
Mohd Chan Halal Dim Sum At MyTown In Cheras Is Ok-Ok Only
I LOVE DIM SUM. I love food in general. But dim sum is my favourite. Mohd Chan has a halal dim sum stall in the basement of MyTown in Cheras.
It’s ok. For quick and easy eating. Not the best dim sum. I mean, not even close to being the best. But ok-ok lah. Kinda expensive and not so kid-friendly (no high chairs, only stools and tiny round tables).
The Food
My mama ordered six types of dim sum, dry wantan noodles, and soup wantan noodles. And she also ordered some curry noodle thing, I think?
Hearty portions, ok-ok flavours. It was a lot of food and it came up to around RM160. I dunno if it’s worth it or not. Hmmm… I think it’s ok lah.
We had two portions of six types of dim sum and all the noodles. Fed 7 people. That’s a lot of people.
I have been craving loh mai kai for soooooo long
But this loh mai kai was so bland and boring. Sad life. I WANT LOH MAI KAIIIII.
Food: 2/5
The Ambiance
Eh. It was clean. Just a typical tiny food stall in a basement of a shopping mall. You know what I mean?
Ambiance: 2/5
The Service
All self-service. From order to pick-up. Food was prepared on the spot. Piping hot and yummy.
Service: 3/5
Final Thoughts
It was ok. It was good food, I can’t complain. I’d probably eat there again if I happened to see it but I wouldn’t go out of my way.
The proper Mohd Chan Chinese-Muslim restaurant is much much much better. This little stall, not so much.
Overall: 2/5
