Review: Asam Pedas At Aida Rich Cafe In Ayer Keroh, Melaka

I love love LOVE assam pedas. Asam pedas? How you spell. I dunno. I only know it tastes delicious and no one does it better than Melaka.

First asam pedas during our 3D2N staycation in Melaka was at Aida Rich Cafe.

Short drive from Bayou Lagoon Park Resort. Simple and tasty and inexpensive. Assam pedas yaaaaaas.

The Food

The assam pedas is spicy, sour, and super satisfying. I loved it.

I can’t remember what the kids ordered. Cantonese Kuay Teow and Wantan Mee? It was so-so.

The Menu

They call it “Western Baba Nyonya Fusion.” Huge menu lots of things. The noodles that the boys ordered weren’t that great. But the assam pedas was yums.

The Ambiance

Surprisingly cute and colourful inside. Nothing fancy. Very clean.

Snacks and kuih and stuff

I love snacks and kuih and stuff. That’s why I’m fat.

We bought a ton of kuih and other munchies to eat in the hotel after. You should too. There’s a lot of food. Is good. I approve.

Aida Rich Cafe blah blah

10/10 recommend eating here if you’re in the area and looking for assam pedas. But don’t go out of your way coz it’s not like the best thing ever. Tasty. Good. I like.
