DurianMan SS2 And Durian King TTDI Review

I LOVE DURIAN. I love durian. I really really REALLY love durian.

But… I don’t know how to buy durian. Before this, every time I see a stall, I wish I could stop to buy durian. But I just don’t know what to do??? And I don’t want to look stupid or get scammed. So I just don’t buy.

I’ve been ordering from DurianMan SS2 via Grab for the past month and pre-ordered from Durian King TTDI.

Musang King from DurianMan SS2

Omg perfection. Firm flesh. Pungent smell. Creamy texture. Amazing taste.

My whole family ate Musang King from DurianMan SS2 on four separate occasions. And EVERYONE loved it. My mama, papa, brother, son 1, son 2, and son 3. Haha.

So much fleshy flesh and just a small seed. We were amazed. I love it. 10/10 recommend.

Prices fluctuate a little every day, and sometimes there are special promos like “buy 3 free 1”. The types of durian available also change daily. I mean, depends what supply they have lah right?

Mostly I see Musang King, Black Thorn, and Udang Merah variants.

Price:

• Black Thorn is around RM95/300g (one plastic box)
• Musang King is around RM70-RM75/300g
• Udang Merah is around RM45/300g

Then there are different combo deals. Discounts if you buy multiple boxes.

I dunno how much durian is usually, because you know, I never buy before. But for noob like me who doesn’t want to leave the house because coronavirus, I am very happy to spend RM70 for a treat. Once in a while. Not every day.

I wish every day.

But I don’t have enough money for durian every day. Hehe.

Plus, Ayub and Sulaiman (and Ibrahim) LOVE durian. So we have to share huhu.

Musang King from Durian King TTDI

The smell was SO STRONG that Mr Ninja ran upstairs to get away from it (he hates durian, he sucks, but it’s good because I don’t have to share with him).

Anyway, the smell was so strong that the durian eaters swarmed around it and all the Musang King was devoured before I could take a picture.

OMG it was SO GOOD.

I would say it was even better than DurianMan SS2.

The flesh was creamier, the taste was richer. For me, it was the perfect durian. So omphhh! You know? That OMMMMPPHHHH durian puas puas nom nom.

Too strong for Sulaiman. He ate one ulas and tapped out. But for me, I could eat like 6 whole biji by myself I think.

Definitely recommend Durian King TTDI for Musang King. Price is cheaper too!

• Pahang Mas – RM30/1kg
• XO – RM40/1kg

Prices and promos change depending of stock of course. But still, lower prices than DurianMan. And SO SEDAP. I like it so much. Mmmmm… I want to order now.

OKOK so I bought Durian King yesterday. I gave Mr Ninja RM200 to buy as much Musang King as he could get. See how much!

RM200 got us 3.5kg of Musang King. I counted around 30 ulas. Every piece was DELICIOUS.
