Melaka Corner Is The Most Convenient And Simple Breakfast Spot Ever

My mum loves Melaka Corner. It’s pre-packed breakfast, lunch, and snack food. I love it too. It used to be my go-to when I was working at FlyFM. But my mum is CRAZY over it. She weird like me.

Anyway, I was on leave so we had breakfast at Melaka Corner in 1Utama with Aisha and the baby.

The Food

So many options. Bihun, fried rice, nasi lemak bungkus, roti jala, kuih muih, cakoi… if you can think it, you can have it.

No, not really. But it’s like every staple Malaysian breakfast food is there. For reals. What am I writing. I’m sorry. I’m tired. Mr Ninja has gone out and I’m alone with the four kids. And I grounded Sulaiman (no tablet for the weekend) so he’s extra annoying.

There was a bunch of other stuff that I didn’t take pictures of like bak chang mmmmmmm!

Don’t go there if you’re super hungry because you’ll end up buying everything… like me and my mum

Chee cheong fan, that white thingy that I can’t remember the name of, two boxes of dumplings, and two cakes, plus three drinks. Just for two adults and one smol Aisha. This is why I’m fat.

I love the food. It’s nothing fancy. Just homey and filling and yummy. I bit on the expensive side considering it’s all homey and not fancy. But I still love it.

Food: 5/5 (because SO MANY CHOICES)

The Ambiance

People tend to buy and go or nom nom and leave. Nobody hangs around too long. There are only a few small tables and stools. It’s a quick makan stop. I like it. It’s cute. Very busy and crowded. Long queues during breakfast time.

No place for a baby.

Ambiance: 3/5

The Service

Everything is self-service. Just take your food and pay at the counter. But if you order drinks or like half-boiled eggs, then they’ll bring it to you. Fast, efficient. Sometimes they forget your drink but it’s ok. They are packed and still really fast.

Service: 4/5

Final thoughts

Is good. Will always go back. I love this place. I’m easy to please. Mr Ninja claims this is where we had our first date but it wasn’t. He doesn’t know anything.

Overall: 4/5
