We saw the signboard for a new restaurant opening soon in TTDI called Super Saigon.…
The Best Pho In Malaysia Is From Pho Hoa At The Curve
Ayub and Aisha are both pretty pick eaters. One thing that they will ALWAYS eat is hot noodle soup. Virtually any kind of noodle soup. But probably in their top 3 is Pho Hoa’s pho meatball soup. They’re boring so they eat it with just noodles, meatballs, and broth. Like, none of that other good stuff.
Fortunately for us aduluts, Pho Hoa is totally the best vietnamese pho restaurant in Malaysia. Even better than Super Saigon in TTDI.
The Food
I can’t remember the names of any of the dishes. But Mr Ninja and I always order J3. It has all that good stuff in there. The broth is really beefy and tasty. You can also opt for chicken broth or vegetarian broth. But the beef is the best.
Look how sad the kids’ soup looks without all the yummy herbs and onions and other goodness. This looks like a bowl of Gowri.
My new favourite thing are these spring rolls. OMG. Fresh and delicious. The best part is the peanut dipping sauce. I was happily nom nom nomming my spring rolls and the waiter came out with another dish of the peanut dipping sauce without me asking because he is the best waiter ever.
This is the stuff you add to your soup to customise it to your liking. I tear up all the Thai basil and dump it all in there mmmm… Plus the lime too. So good. I eat the bean sprouts like a snack dipped in the sambal because I dunno I like it like that.
Best pho sambal ever.
The menu
Large is really large. Regular is just right. They have kid’s meals too.

The Ambiance
It ain’t particularly cute but it’s clean and comfortable.

The Service
The service is outstanding. Like, super super super good. There are only about 2-3 guys working the tables there and they are able to do everything at lightning speed, often without being asked. They greet you, bring you to a table, carry a baby chair if you need one, bring the menus, take the orders, food is out in a matter of minutes.
Whenever we go to Pho Hoa, the kids always like to go outside to the courtyard area to look at the koi fish pond while we wait for the food. The other day when we were there, the kids went out, and shortly after the food arrived. So the waiter covered all the food with extra plates to keep them warm and keep any bugs from getting in. I thought that was super thoughtful.
Yeah, and he brought me extra peanut sauce. He’s the best. Best service.

Final Thoughts
Best pho in Malaysia. Mr Ninja and I went to Vietnam last year and we ate A LOT of pho. And we still prefer Pho Hoa. Maybe we just don’t know what we’re talking about haha.
