We Went On A 3D2N Staycation To Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson (Part 4)
Read about the Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson playground and beach, room review, and kid-friendly activities at the hotel. This post is kinda about the food. I mean, it’s Port Dickson. They’re not really known for food. On our family staycation we generally just ate at the hotel. On the second day we drove out to the PD Waterfront and had Pappa Rich. Safe food for kids.
I had kinda more interesting food during the work retreat… but it was still like… :/
1. The Lexis Hibiscus hotel breakfast is great
Sorry about the crappy pictures. I was too busy stuffing my face. I think I ate a whole wheel of camembert by myself one morning. There’s a separate buffet spread outside for freshly cooked food like eggs and roti canai and stuff.
2. Cendol Bakar was totally not bakared
All the portions were TINY. Each had one lump of shaved ice, a teaspoon of cendol, and ONE nata de coco. ONE. NATA. DE. COCO. I ordered the durian one and it didn’t come with durian. It came with like, durian flavouring. It was so sad. I was so sad. We were all sad.
Someone ordered pisang goreng cheese. They were not as sad. Someone else ordered an ais kepal milo. They were really sad.
3. This giant fish head curry place
I don’t know what this place is called. I could ask someone. But I’m not going to. It was yummy. The fish head was huge as modelled by the beautiful JV. We ate lots.
4. The PD Waterfront is so dull
What do people who live in Port Dickson do for fun man? It’s so boring. I guess they probs drive to Seremban… or even KL? I dunno. We went to the PD Waterfront, ate Pappa Rich, then walked around. It ends at a private property that’s all locked up so you just gotta walk back.
The end.
