Ok, so in my last post I ended it with Mr Ninja, my folks, the…
We Went On A 3D2N Staycation To Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson (Part 3)
Click here to read about the Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson playground and beach and here for the room review. This post is about the kid-friendly things to do at the hotel π
1. The playground and general swimming pool
Just a regular playground and a long, skinny pool. The playground is perfectly located just outside the restaurant where breakfast is served. So once the kids are done with their food, they can go play while Mr Ninja and I chill and stuff our faces some more.
2. The personal swimming pool in every room
By far the BEST part of the Lexis Hibiscus hotel is the personal swimming pool. It’s small and shallow (but Sulaiman still needs a floaty because his feet don’t reach the bottom). The position of our room meant that we were shaded the whole day, which was awesome. I don’t know what else to say. Swimming is the best part of any holiday.
Love this shot of Aisha and Mr Ninja. The boys had been swimming all day, while Aisha had napped. When she woke up, she wanted to swim some more. So Mr Ninja jumped in the pool with her.
3. Kidz World @ Lexis Hibiscus
This indoor playground is perfect for younger kids (Ayub got bored after a while). Lots of things to do inside. And we were the only ones there so that’s always extra fun for super anti-social people like Mr Ninja and me.
Here’s what they offer:
2. Sand Art
- Small : RM5
- Medium: RM10
- Large : RM20
3. Mug Painting : RM25
4. Henna Tattoo: RM10
5. Nails Painting: RM10
6. Face Painting: RM10
7. Key Chain Painting: RM10
8. Badge Painting: RM10
9. Batik Painting: RM25
10. T-Shirt Painting: RM25
11. Kids Bicycle for Rental: RM10 (1/2 hr)
Of course, we’re kedekut so we only paid for the 1-hour playground ho ho ho.
4. Games Room @ Lexis Hibiscus
The Games Room is next to the buggy area so we passed it ALL the time. The kids loved it. Especially Ayub. Ayub would live in that room if he could. It’s just a tiny arcade with stuff like Meteor Shower, Merry Go Round, Ultra Fire Power, Jurassic, Air Hockey, Happy Scooter, Letβs Go and more.
5. Hibiscus Walk
The hibiscus design of the resort makes for really nice walking. And you can also rent a bike, tandem bike, segway, and other stuff to get around. We mostly just walked or used the buggy because we lazy like that. Oh, you can even go on a helicopter ride. I waved to a lot of helicopters from our swimming pool.
Along the beach there are food stalls. We had dinner there one night. It was the worst meal of my life. Even Sulaiman, who eats anything, couldn’t eat his char kuey teow. It was inedible. Just awful. Never ever ever ever eat there. And one plate of food was like RM20. Absolute garbage. We got ice cream for the kids then went back to our room and ate Maggi hot cups and eggs and snacks.
6. The hole in the floor of the bathroom
Aisha woke up in the morning while everyone was still snoozing. I heard her say to her doll, “hey baby, want go see fish? OK!” And I found her and her doll face down looking at the fish in the water below. Hahaha. HOURS OF ENDLESS FUN FOR TINY HUMANS.
